A trip along the corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo is a great starting point to your vacation. Here, you’ll find a sequence of inviting coves with calm seas, perfect for swimming or snorkeling. If you visit between November and April, you may be lucky enough to see whale pods in the distance.
Also along the same coastline is a range of hotels offering spas and golf courses. If you’d like some unwinding time, a spa treatment or a relaxing round of golf could work wonders.
Be sure to visit the Cabo Pulmo National Park. Located on the edge of Los Cabos, the park is home to coral reefs and the magnificent endangered sea turtles. Best beaches in Los Cabos

- Santa Maria - Just a fifteen-minute drive from either town, Santa Maria Bay is along the corridor and is easy to get to. The beach is a protected marine sanctuary, and also a holder of the prestigious Blue Flag certificate.
- Pamilla beach is another proud Blue Flag Certified beach. Unlike many beaches in Los Cabos, Palmilla is suitable for swimmers. The waters are calm enough that you can enjoy the cool waters as well as sunbathing on the beach. This is a family-friendly spot and will keep the whole family entertained. It’s also easy to get to, and is open to the public.
- Medano beach is the biggest swimmable beach in the area. There are several great resorts spread along this stretch. It’s another place with calm waters that kids will love. The golden sands and trademark swaying palms make this a picturesque haven for your vacation.
