The Caribbean is famous for its beaches and Montego Bay is home to some of the best, with soft white sands and clean water.
Dead End Beach in Montego Bay is a perfect example of an authentic Caribbean beach. Perhaps the most incredible part is that it’s right next to the airport, and you can watch the planes flying low overhead. Of course, if it’s peace and tranquility that you want, this may not be the beach for you!
Doctor’s Cave Beach boasts a prime position on Montego Bay’s ‘Hip Strip’. It’s lively and cool, but boasts a laid-back atmosphere, characteristic of Jamaican culture. There's a small charge for access to this beach, but it’s worth it.
Located opposite the Aquasol Water Park is Walter Fletcher Beach, where palm trees separate the sand from the road. This is a great beach for families, or for those who want to swim, as the waters are calm. It’s in an excellent position to access the ‘Hip Strip’ trendy hangouts.
